General

This documentation describes only the functions of the Iriska Theme. You can learn about how to use WordPress functions (create pages, etc) from the documentation for WordPress.

Customize

At the moment, 87 settings have been created in the Iriska theme. These include color, layout and typography settings. Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize to change them. Some settings have a description.

Page template

Initially, when creating a new page or post, a regular template is used. If you are using a page builder and want a full width page, use the Template For Page Builder template. This template is available for pages and posts. This template does not display a sidebar, but comments are displayed (if any, or if they are included for current page). Also in this template there are no indents above and below.

Widget Areas

The Iriska theme has 10 areas for widgets. Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Widgets to see them. Place the widget in the area to display it on the site. Make sure that the customizer has a setting for displaying the sidebar is enabled. Widgets in the footer and in the post (after the content) have a setting for the width (in the customizer).

Widgets

To find out the ID of the post, go to the Admin Panel > Posts > All Posts. Select the desired post and hover over the Edit link. In the link that appears at the bottom of the browser screen will be the ID of the post (post=id).

Typography

You can connect any fonts using a link to them (make sure the link is correct and connects the font). Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Typography settings > Fonts. It is recommended to specify a link to Google Fonts. Go to the catalog Google Fonts. Select a font. Copy the link and place it in the field for the link. Copy the CSS code (only value, without "font-family:") and place it in the CSS code field. Below are image with tips.
